Meet the Maker, Leanne Boudreau of Loomination. She creates textile pieces in her studio in the woods in Westminster, MA, at the base of Mount Wachusett.
Creating functional household textiles like pillows, hand towels for both kitchen and bath and spa towels using natural fibers, Leanne focuses on the art of the everyday, on pieces that can be used and loved. Heirloom quality fabric that you can toss in the washer and dryer knowing it will get even better with age.
She studied textile design, fiber art and fine art at UMass Dartmouth, Brown University and RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) and founded Loomination® in 2013.
Her work focuses on texture, color and woven pattern. Beginning with yarn made from natural fibers, each strand is threaded onto her vintage handloom. Individually handwoven and hand finished, every piece is made intentionally, from start to finish, to last a lifetime.
Welcome to Loomination!
