Meet the Maker, Ross Ozer of OG Studio Creations in Somerville, MA. His studio is tucked into New England’s largest maker’s space, Artisan’s Asylum.
Ross has a philosophy that home accents should be decorative but also highly functional. His work is inspired by mid-century Asian and African motifs. His original designs are playful and sophisticated with attention-grabbing patterns that are captivating.
Using lasers to cut his patterns, he creates tealight lanterns that transform the glow of a flickering candle into something magical. His Judaica pieces keep traditions alive with a natural flair. Specializing in bamboo fabrication techniques he turns the everyday ordinary into something extraordinary that amplifies the personality of one’s home.
He finishes everything by hand—sanding, oiling, waxing and assembly. It’s a labor of love. He hopes you’ll explore his collections and get as captivated as he is everyday.
Says Ross, “It's been an amazing journey building a company that’s all about delivering extraordinary designs and craftsmanship.” We hope you find something you like from this unique artist.

“There is no creation without tradition; the 'new' is an inflection on a preceding form; novelty is always a variation on the past.” ― Carlos Fuentes
