Meet the Maker Curtis Singer who started the Outward Cartography studio in Denver, Colorado, to celebrate both the places, memories and experiences that are important. Finding great peace in establishing roots in a home, neighborhood, town, city, state, mountain range, park bench and everything in between, it’s no surprise their etched glassware represents their connections to locations from their life.
Outward Cartography sources American made glassware and engraves it with highly detailed maps and other representations of “place”. They have created the perfect gift for new couples, for house warming, party favors and thank you's. Each pint, stemless wine, and single rocks glass can be engraved with a map from a meaningful location complete with a map pin to showcase a specific point.
Similar to the glasses they also offer marble coasters that feature detailed maps printed using UV cured ink that won’t fade, smudge or wash off.
If you feel deeply rooted somewhere, have made great memories, or have plans to make a home with someone, we hope you find glassware and accessories at Outward Cartography that feel personal and significant.
Welcome to Outward Cartography.
“A place belongs forever to whoever claims it hardest, remembers it most obsessively, wrenches it from itself, shapes it, renders it, loves it so radically that he remakes it in his own image.” - Joan Didion
