Return, Exchange and Damage Policy

At The Dowry, we take your product satisfaction very seriously. We want you to not only like the products you purchase from The Dowry, we want you to love them! 

Your order may be eligible for a return or exchange depending on the artist's return or exchange policies.

Each artist on The Dowry adheres to their own policies regarding refunds, exchanges, returns and damages. Policies vary from artist to artist. Artists aren’t required to accept a return or exchange unless stated in their policy as outlined below. All personalized product is not available for refund, return or exchange.

We recommend before purchasing or registering for an item, that you review the artists returns & exchange policy below. All artists are listed in alphabetical order.

Regardless of what is stated below, if you have an issue with an order (wrong product, product defect, damaged product, shipping issue) please reach out to The Dowry customer support directly - NOT the artist.

We will take the product back within 14 days if it comes back in perfect condition.

Damage claims must be filed with UPS.

 

ATELIER SAUCIER

We want you to be absolutely in love with your purchase. ATELIER SAUCIER accepts returns of unused product in its original condition and packaging within 15 days of sale.

Embroidered or custom items will not be accepted for return or exchange without appearance of a clear internal defect.

Once your return is received, please allow up to 7 business days to process your refund.

 

THE BAKER'S BOARD

We warranty for and cover manufacturing defects.

If a product is delivered damaged we will replace at the normal cost.

 

BARREL-ART

If you are not satisfied with the product you received, contact The Dowry, and they will arrange to exchange, replace, or refund your money (less shipping charges).

Custom orders are not returnable or refundable.

 

BILLET AND BLADE

Orders may be returned within 30 days or receipt for replacement.

Any damaged goods may be returned for replacement within 30 days of receipt.

 

BOBBY SHARP GLASSWORKS

If it arrived damaged in return shipped to the customer within 3 to 5 business days USP Ground.

 

BROOKLYN SLATE CO.

We take great care in manufacturing our goods, but please inspect your order
on arrival. If you are unhappy with the quality of your order, please contact The Dowry within 15 days to receive a replacement.

 

C-LOS CARPENTRY

We stand behind the integrity of our product, and we deal with returns on a case by case basis. If there are are issues, please contact The Dowry, and we would be happy to send a replacement piece or provide a refund. 

All of our items are inspected prior to shipping, and packaged carefully so as to withstand damage during the shipping process.

 

CAROLINE AND CLAY

Each piece is hand thrown, trimmed and glazed with love and care. Due to the nature of handmade work slight variations may occur.

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase for any reason please let The Dowry know within 14 days. I will work with you to ensure that you are fully satisfied.

On the rare event that an item is damaged while shipping it will be replaced. Please contact The Dowry within 3 days of receipt to start the replacement process. 

 

CHEESE GROTTO

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

 

CLAY PATH STUDIO

We don't accept returns, exchanges or cancellations.  Please contact The Dowry if you have any problems with your order.  If an item arrives broken, please contact The Dowry ASAP.  We will need a photograph of the broken piece(s) and we will replace the item as soon as possible.  

 

COOK ON CLAY

We accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of purchase on unused pots. We do not accept returns on seconds or on pots that have been used.

Returns or exchanges must arrive undamaged within 30 days of your initial shipment. A refund will be issued through your original payment method. Shipping charges are not refundable.

If the product has a material defect, it will be exchanged. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on pots damaged through improper use or storage.

 

CSF CERAMICS

Returns are accepted, and items will be replaced, if damaged in shipping. 

 

CURIOUS CLAY

I want all customers to be happy with their purchase and am happy to replace items they aren't happy with. Buyer pays for all shipping fees.

If an item arrives damaged, insurance should be filed for the full retail value immediately.  A replacement can be made, with the same lead time.

 

CURSIVE M CERAMICS

Handmade products often have slight variations and imperfections; many are one-of-a-kind. These things make handmade ceramics so special.

I hope you love your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied, let The Dowry know within 48 hours after receiving your order. Returned orders must be shipped within 7 days. You are responsible for the return shipping costs. A refund for the amount of the purchase will be sent when the return is received. Please be sure that the item is unused and in its original packaging.

I will replace an item that is damaged. Proof of damage must be provided within 48 hours of receiving your order. Proof by taking a photo of the item in its original package.  

 

DESIGN TRIFECTA

Returns are only accepted in original packaging, we do NOT accept returns in other boxes. We have a 90 day return policy and 120 days to exchange for a different wood. 

If there is any reason that the product cannot ship within the agreed upon lead time of 1 day, we will let The Dowry know immediately so proper communication to customer can take place. Contact The Dowry about returns, exchanges, or delays in shipping.

 

D-HAENE STUDIO

Due to the nature of handmade work slight variations may occur. We do not accept return or exchange.

On the rare event that an item is damaged while shipping it will be replaced. Please contact The Dowry within 2 days of receipt to start the replacement process.

 

DMG DESIGNS

New purchases in original condition may be returned for store credit or exchange within 30 days of purchase. Customer will be responsible for return shipping charges. Store credit must be used within 1 year of issue date. Custom, discounted or sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.

If damage occurs under normal use or during shipping, I will repair product for free. Customer is responsible for shipping charges.

Once a piece has been worked on by another metalsmith, all warranties are void, any damage will be repaired at standard repair rates.

 

DH MCNABB

We want you to love each object as much as we do. If you aren't satisfied with your purchase we're happy to refund your order, minus the cost of return shipping.

Email The Dowry with any questions or concerns you may have. Items damaged during shipping must be reported within one week of delivery.

Submit proof of damage claims for order discrepancies via email to The Dowry with photo documentation in order to be replaced.

 

EDGEWOOD MADE

Items may be returned for a refund or store credit within 14 days of receiving them. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. If you need to return an item, send an email to The Dowry.

In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, Edgewood Made will do our best to replace the item. Damaged or defective merchandise must be reported within 3 days of receiving your order and must be documented with photographs. If you need to report a damaged or defective item, send an email to The Dowry.

 

ELANA GABRIELLE

Changes to any orders must be submitted within 24 hours of order placement. We accept returns only in the case that the merchandise has arrived damaged, or if it has been shipped in error. Please report any fulfillment issues within 5 days of order receipt to The Dowry.

If a product arrives damaged, please let The Dowry know and we will do our best to replace the item. We are not responsible for damage that occurs in your care or while in use. 

 

E. LO CERAMIC ART

Returns are only accepted in the instance of exchanging for a piece of the same or lesser value; such as a color exchange. Customer will need to pay for shipping.

If any items are damaged in transit to customer, E.Lo Ceramic Art will replace the damaged items as soon as possible. 

 

ELYTRA TEXTILES

Returns available for 30 days after ship date. Exchanges available for 90 days after ship date. 

Damages can happen during shipping. If this is the case, I will gladly replace the product upon receiving the damaged return.

10 day satisfaction and lifetime warranty for defect units. 

 

FLIKR FIRE

10 day satisfaction. Lifetime warranty for defect units. 

 

FROM FRAN

We gladly accept returns and exchanges. Contact The Dowry within 14 days of delivery. Ship items back within 30 days of delivery.

 

FRUCS (For Reasons Unknown Creative Studio)

We love our customers and want you to be ecstatic about your FRUCS Textile purchase.

We will gladly exchange your purchase for another item at equal price within 5 days after receiving the package. The merchandise must be in perfect condition as received and with the original packaging.

If you continue to be unsatisfied with the replacement, we will issue you a store credit upon return of the item. We do not offer refunds. Customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost.

In the unlikely event your item arrives either damaged or defective, please contact The Dowry immediately. To help resolve your issue, we will ask for photos or videos to determine the best course of action (e.g. replacement, exchange, or refunds). All claims must be made within 10 days of delivery. Any claims made after 10 days will not be accepted.

 

GLASSBLOWER BEN

No returns or refunds.

 

THE GRATE PLATE

We will gladly exchange your purchase for another item at equal price within 30 days after receiving the package.

We will replace any damaged product with proof by picture.

 

GRIZZLY CAST IRON COOKWARE

We offer a 30 day return policy. After 30 days, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange. In certain circumstances, a partial refund may be offered.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5- business days.

 

HAYDEN WILSON GLASS

Hayden Wilson Glass accepts returns within 30 days of order.

Damaged items will be replaced free of charge.

 

HELEN RUDY GLASS

Handmade products often have slight variations and imperfections; which makes these glass products special. If you are not completely satisfied, let The Dowry know within 48 hours after receiving your order.

Helen Rudy Glass will replace an item that is damaged. Proof of damage must be provided within 48 hours of receiving the order. Proof by taking a photo of the item in its original package and emailing The Dowry.

Returned orders must be shipped within 7 days. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. A refund for the amount of the purchase will be sent when the return is received. Please be sure that the item is unused and in its original packaging.

 

HOLD ON TO YOUR PLANTS

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Shipping costs are not included in the refund.   

If items are defective or damaged upon arrival, then a replacement may be issued with proof of damage.

 

HONEY + HANK

Since they are made to order, we do not accept returns. 

We will replace at our cost any goods that are damaged. If they become damaged in transit due to shipping company negligence, we will replace, but we may need more time to make more product. We may replace the part of the product that is damaged and let customer keep the part undamaged. For example, a pillow cover gets damaged in transit, but we may ask the customer to keep the insert while we make a new cover.

 

HOUSE COPPER + COOKWARE

House Copper and Cookware LLC works very hard to ensure your kitchenware pieces are made well. Each piece is hand-inspected when it arrives from the local artisans, and we work hard to make sure your purchase will arrive safely.

Upon receipt of your item(s), please inspect your package within two (2) days and contact us at hello@thedowry.com if there is any damage. You may return your purchase within ten (10) days of receipt of the product for a refund of the product value. We cannot accept returns on items that have been used, or on items damaged through normal wear and tear, or if the item has been misused.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be returned in the original packaging. If you improperly package your return and it is broken during shipment, you will not receive a refund, so please be sure to make sure your item is cushioned nice and safely.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Please allow up to 30 days for this process. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund using your original method of payment. Your credit card refund may be subject to your card’s policies. The only reasons we’ll take a return/issue a refund is if the product is defective upon arrival. We will not process a refund for a product that is simply not to your liking, expectations or if you have buyer’s remorse. A product must arrive damaged and we must be notified within 48 hours in order to assess the situation.

 

IANNAZZI GLASS DESIGN

No returns as all items are made to order.

Items delivered damaged may be replaced at no cost as long as the proof of damage from shipping is documented and sent to The Dowry.

 

JFR GLASS

Items are eligible for returns and refunds on a case by case basis. 

Personalized products are not available for return or refund for any reason.

 

JKH CERAMICS

JKH gladly accepts returns and exchanges. Please contact The Dowry within 7 days of delivery and ship items back within 30 days of delivery. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

JKH makes every effort to pack your ceramics in a manner such that it will survive the shipping process intact. All breakable items ship insured by the carrier. If your pottery arrives broken, please take a picture of the box your item came in, the broken item (sometimes the shipping carrier requests them) and let The Dowry know within 72 hours of receiving your items. You will receive a full refund of the item including the shipping cost.

 

JK HOMEWARES

Exchange only for goods damaged during shipping. Please inspect your package upon arrival and notify The Dowry immediately of any damages. We will gladly issue a replacement. We do not offer refunds.

 

KAC STUDIO

14 day return on all items. Buyer pays return postage except for damaged goods.

Notice of damage must be submitted within 5 days of delivery for refund or replacement. Proof of damage via photos is required or at the discretion of KAC Studios.

 

KATE KILMURRAY

 No returns or refunds.

 

KD WEAVE

Accepts returns within 30 days. Contact hello@thedowry.com if there are any issues with the products upon arrival.

 

KENDALL DAVIS CLAY

If you are unhappy with your purchase, please notify The Dowry of your intent to return it within 7 days of receipt. Items must be unused and packed with care for their return. It is always good to save the original packaging. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost and for damages incurred during return shipping.

In the event a piece arrives damaged, we will gladly exchange it for a similar or equal value piece with proof of damage.

 

KEYES POTTERY

Keyes Pottery products will ship within 2-6 weeks. When any product is added to a gift registry, or added to a submitted order, it will ship within the agreed upon lead time. If there is any reason that the product cannot ship within the agreed upon lead time Keyes Pottery will let The Dowry know immediately, so the proper communication to the customer can take place. 

If items are damaged in the transit process to the customer, Keyes Pottery will replace the item. Items that are damaged after arriving to the customer are not eligible for replacement.

 

L'IMPATIENCE CERAMICS

Due to the handmade nature of our pieces, all sales are considered final, and we are unable to accept returns.  

If your order arrives damaged, please contact The Dowry within 48 hours of receiving product. Please send detailed photos of the damaged item and packaging with all labels visible to allow for time-sensitive insurance claims to be filed and replacement arrangements to be made.

 

LAFAYETTE AVENUE CERAMICS

All sales are final.

In the event an item arrives damaged, email The Dowry with a photo within 7 days of delivery, and I will provide a replacement or refund.

 

LAUREN HB STUDIO

If for some reason you are not satisfied, we will accept your purchase in new condition within 30 days of receipt. Any returns after this time are accepted on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to a 50% restocking fee.

Please do not ship your item until you’ve received confirmation from us that we will accept your return. Items returned outside of the 30-day return window without prior approval may be refused. Return shipping will be at the customer’s expense.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. An email confirmation of your refund will be sent to you. You should see the refunded amount within 3-5 business days, however it may take longer depending on your financial institution.

If the original payment method is unavailable, the return will be issued as a store credit in the form on an online gift card. Shipping costs are not refundable and Lauren HB Studio is not responsible for return shipping costs.

We are not responsible for tracking your return and are unable to issue a refund for lost or damaged packages.

Items will be replaced if they arrive damaged. Buyer must provide photographic documentation to the sender including box, packaging, and object within 7 days of receiving package. Once damage is approved, artist will make and replace object based on original lead times.

 

LOOMINATION

Due to the made-to-order aspects of handwoven production, returns are not accepted on orders.

I do my best to give you the finest quality and service and hope that you will be completely satisfied with your order. If an item is faulty or the shipment is damaged in transit, please let The Dowry know within 3 days of order delivery. If the shipping box was damaged in transit proof of damage is required by photograph.

 

MAKERS MARKET

7 day return policy from date of receipt. Customer is responsible for shipping costs.

All items are inspected prior to shipping to ensure our craftsmanship and quality control is top notch. If for some reason there is an issue with an item upon first or second use due to poor quality please email The Dowry, but special care and attention by customer is advised, and we can not accept damaged returns if it is the fault of the customer. In the event that a product is damaged during shipping, please email The Dowry.

 

M. BUENO

m.bueno will accept returns of damaged or defective merchandise only. 

Any product that arrives damaged will be replaced by m.bueno.  

 

MJ WOOD CO.

I gladly accept returns, exchanges and cancellations. Contact The Dowry within 14 days of delivery. Ship items back within 30 days of delivery. Request a cancellation within 2 days of purchase

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged: Custom or personalized orders OR Perishable products (like food or flowers). Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

If an order has been damaged upon receipt at the fault of the package carrier, contact The Dowry within 3 business days of delivery. We will determine the best course of action.

 

MONARCH GLASS STUDIO

No returns, unless glaring defect is depicted.

Monarch Glass Studio will replace any damaged work due to shipping. Submit proof of damage claims for order discrepancies via email to The Dowry.

 

MORGAN LEVINE CERAMICS

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Product will be replaced if it is damaged in shipping

 

MOSSER GLASS

In order for the products to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 30 days
  • The Goods were not used or damaged

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the products to us. We cannot be held responsible for products damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the products or proof of received return delivery.

If you need to exchange a product for the same one, contact The Dowry. Please note that we only replace goods you received defective or damaged.

Items damaged in shipment or arrive with major defects will be replaced at no charge. Cartons need to be undamaged by UPS, and replacements will be sent. 

Please note: All of our glassware is handmade, minor imperfections are considered acceptable.

 

MUSE TEXTILES

All orders submitted for a gift registry or an order placed will ship within the agreed upon lead time of 8 days. If there is any reason that the product cannot ship within the agreed upon lead time we will notify The Dowry, so the proper communication to the customer can take place. 

If you need to exchange a product for the same one, contact The Dowry. Please note that we only replace goods you received defective or damaged.

  

OG STUDIO CREATIONS

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Should a received item arrive damaged or broken, we will replace it and cover all shipping costs.

 

ON THE ROCKS

Products can be exchanged for other products. No returns. 

If any items are damaged during shipping, contact The Dowry and the artist will replace the item.

 

OUR GLASS

Each piece is hand blown, finished and ground with love and care. Due to the nature of handmade work slight variations may occur. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase for any reason please let The Dowry know within 14 days.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your OUR Glass experience. If your purchase fails to meet your expectations for any reason, we will gladly accept returns of your OUR Glass purchases up to 14 days from the time of purchase, subject to the following conditions:

  • Product must be accompanied by original proof of purchase from OUR Glass/The Dowry, in salable condition and in its original packaging.

Within 90 Days:

  • You may exchange the item
  • Original shipping charges are nonrefundable.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping charges

After 90 Days:

  • Your item is exchangeable for its value on the day of the exchange

FINAL SALE All second-quality, sale, discontinued, personalized/engraved, custom, research, special order, are considered final sale and are not eligible for refunds, exchanges or price adjustments.

Other terms and conditions: When making returns through the mail, please also note the following: The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping returns. Returns must be well packed; we recommend using the original packing material or comparable material and insuring the return.

DAMAGE POLICY: 

OUR Glass will work with you to ensure that you are fully satisfied. On the rare event that an item is damaged while shipping it will be replaced. Please contact The Dowry within 3 days of receipt to start the replacement process.

OUTWARD CARTOGRAPHY

No returns on custom products. 

If products arrived damaged, we will replace ASAP.

 

PERCH OBJECTS

Most of these products are made to order. Once an order has shipped, refunds are not available. Exchanges only. A customer can exchange a piece for equal or greater value within 6 weeks of the order shipping. Items damaged in shipping will be replaced by Perch Objects if notified within 2 weeks of order being shipped.

 

PIEPER GLASS

Each piece is handmade so slight differences can be expected. Returns are accepted within 14 days. If there are any defects, please notify The Dowry. 

 

All shipments will be insured, so please contact The Dowry if an item is damaged. We will send another and have UPS pick up the damaged item in the original box. All damages must be returned within 14 days. 

 

 POPPIEJANES

We do our very best to provide quality products you will love in your home. We want our customers to be completely happy with their purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, please contact The Dowry within 14 days of receiving your merchandise and we will be happy to find a solution.

Please return all items in new condition, unused or damaged within 14 days. ​Unfortunately we cannot refund shipping and handling fees and customer is responsible for re-shipping fees. Please note, custom orders are non-refundable as they are cut and made specifically for you.

Damaged items can be returned or exchanged at no additional cost within 14 days of receiving your merchandise.

 

RACHAELPOTS

No returns. Due to the handmade nature of all times, slight color and shape variation will not warrant return or replacement.

Items damaged during shipping will be replaced following photographic proof, still partially in packaging, if possible.  

 

REX DESIGN

Due to the nature of handmade ceramics, small variations in form and color are to be expected and part of what make these pieces so unique. We don't accept returns, exchanges or cancellations.  Please contact The Dowry if you have any problems with your order.

In the unlikely event of damage during shipment, please contact The Dowry within 48 hours of receipt. We will need a photograph of the broken piece(s) and we will replace the item as soon as possible. We do not take responsibility or offer refunds for stolen mail.

 

ROLF GLASS

We are dedicated to providing you with excellent customer service. As a U.S. manufacturer, we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver quality merchandise that is thoughtfully packaged and shipped expediently to our customers. If there is ever a situation that arises where you are not satisfied with our service, please do not hesitate to reach out to The Dowry so that we may resolve the issue as quickly and satisfyingly as possible.

At Rolf Glass, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction is our priority. We carefully inspect your order prior to shipment. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify The Dowry of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

If, within 30 days for Rolf Glass products, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value.

All returns must be in resell-able condition and in original packaging.

An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges.

 

RUST DESIGNS

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Non-returnable items: Personalized Items are not returnable.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery is no longer eligible for return. 

 

SABBATH-DAY WOODS

We offer free returns on all products in original condition within 30 day of purchase.

Submit claims for order discrepancies via email to The Dowry within 3 days of receipt. After 3 days, claims will not be accepted.

 

SANTA FE STONEWORKS

We do not offer cash returns but are happy to exchange any unused products. We offer a lifetime warranty to the original owner on all of our knives, tableware and accessories, and will repair any item that is defective in material or workmanship.

 

SAORI M STONEWARE

Any damage caused by the use of the product is the responsibility of the purchaser. Please read the enclosed instructions before using the product.

Please feel free to contact The Dowry if you have any problems with your order. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

  

SEA STONES

We offer distinctive first-quality work and we want you to be totally satisfied with any purchase that you make from Sea Stones.

Our return policy is simple: We offer a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects for all work.

Damage related to shipping must be reported within 7 days of receiving order.

No returns for weathering, abuse, broken glass, or natural variations including colors, textures, shapes, natural features of wood grain, etc.

Upon receiving the returned item, we will cheerfully send you a replacement or full refund of the price of the item purchased.

Shipping and handling charges are not refundable and you are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us.

 

SLASH OBJECTS

Returns accepted at the expense of the customer unless merchandise is defective or incorrect. Please report defective merchandise within 5 days to The Dowry.

 

SLOW BURN GLASS

Returns must be approved within 5 business days after delivery. After 5 days pieces are returned for exchange only. 

Upon damage of pieces we will be happy to ship another one out. Submit proof of damage claims for order discrepancies via email to The Dowry.

 

SPENCER'S CUSTOM WOOD

Returns are accepted for refund and exchanges. Submit claims for order discrepancies via email to The Dowry within 3 days of delivery and shipping. All returns are due back to Spencer's Custom Wood within 14 days of delivery.

If the buyer changes their mind about a purchase, refunds are accepted and can be returned. Notify The Dowry within 3 days of the purchase and the item must be returned in the original condition within a 14 day timeframe.

The customer is responsible for all shipping costs and there will be a restocking fee of 25% on the items original price. 

 

STUDIO HERRON

Because of the small nature of our studio, we do not accept returns at this time.

We will replace or refund items that were damaged due to an issue in shipping transit. Please be sure to send The Dowry an email with an image of the damaged box and item. We will send a return shipping label to send our product back to us and can either issue you a refund minus shipping cost or an exchange. 

 

STYLE UNION HOME

Due to the handmade nature of our pieces, all sales are considered final, and we are unable to accept returns.  

If your order arrives damaged, please contact The Dowry within 48 hours of receiving product. Please send detailed photos of the damaged item and packaging with all labels visible to allow for time-sensitive insurance claims to be filed and replacement arrangements to be made.

 

SUNDAY STUDIO

Due to the fragile nature of these items, we regret that we cannot accept returns or exchanges.

 

SUSAN TROY CLOTH

Susan Troy Cloth does not accept returns on items unless there is a defect or damage to the item. Due to the handmade, hand-painted nature of our products slight variations in color and design are expected. Sale Items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned. 

All damaged returns must be postmarked within seven (7) days of the purchase date. All damaged returned items must be in an unused and unwashed condition with all original tags and labels attached.

Damages: After receiving the damage product back and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return. Please allow at least seven (7) days from the receipt of your items for us to process your return. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed. Returns must be in the same condition as when they were shipped.

Please Note: You will be responsible for shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.

SWAMPGIRL POTTERY

Swampgirl Pottery does not accept returns or exchanges. But please contact us at hello@thedowry.com, if you have any problems with your order.

THREAD AND WHISK

We are proud of the character and quality that come with our small batch production. Our products are made with natural fibers and leather and often have a beautifully imperfect look and feel. The natural characteristics of these materials should not be considered a flaw.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will issue a refund for full price merchandise. Before returning items please email The Dowry at hello@thedowry.co to notify us of your desire to return or exchange your purchase.

Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt in unused condition and in original packaging. Any item that is not in the same condition as it was shipped will not be accepted as a return. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.

If you receive an item that is damaged, please contact us immediately at hello@thedowry.com. All damages must be reported within 48 hours upon receiving your order.

 

TINY HANDS POTTERY

Tiny Hands Pottery doesn't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. But please contact The Dowry if there is a problem with your order. Pottery is handmade, and no two items will ever look identical.  

If your item should happen to arrive damaged please send The Dowry an email along with photos of both the shipping box and damaged item. We must receive an email and photos within 30 days in order to process the damage claim. Please let me know if you wish to have a refund or have the item replaced.

 

TOMOKO CERAMICS

If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, please contact The Dowry within 2 days of the received of your items.

Return shipping fee and insurance are the responsibility of the buyer. Items must be returned and received in the original packaging in original condition and shipped with Delivery Confirmation.

I make sure that my work is very well packed to decrease the odds of it arriving damaged. However, I can't be responsible for damage to your shipment while in transit unless you elect to purchase insurance at an additional cost. Contact The Dowry for more information.

 

TOWN CUTLER

We offer returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase for most products. Proof of purchase is required, and products should be unused and in their original condition and packaging. If we deem a product has been minimally used, it may still be eligible for return or exchange, but subject to a 20% restocking fee. Refunds and exchanges will be issued after Town Cutler receives and inspects the product(s). All shipping charges are non-refundable. To return or exchange product(s), please reach out to The Dowry. Do not send product(s) for return or exchange without contacting The Dowry. Returns or exchanges sent without prior communication may not be accepted.

We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit. If you believe your product(s) were damaged in transit, contact the carrier and The Dowry as soon as possible. Keep all packing materials as they may be required as proof of damage. Our knives are designed and made to bring you a lifetime of enjoyment in the kitchen with proper care. If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, we will inspect your knife and repair or replace the item if deemed appropriate. Manufacturing defects do not include normal wear and tear, and we will not repair or replace a product if it has been misused, neglected to be cared for properly, or modified from its original design.

 

TULUSA

Products can be returned within 10 days of receipt for a store credit.

If product arrived damaged we will remake and resend within 10 days of receiving the damaged product. We will pay for shipping for returning and replacing the product.

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with a non-custom order, you my return it for store credit, exchange it for the same or a different product of the same or lesser value, or obtain a full refund of your purchase price (to the original payment method) provided you notify The Dowry by e-mail within 15 days of receiving the item. You must include your order number in your e-mail.

If your order is received in damaged condition, we will repair or replace it at our sole discretion provided that you contact The Dowry by e-mail within 48 hours of receiving the item and provide us with photographic evidence of the damage and of the condition of your order’s packaging, which will assist us in filing a claim with the carrier. Please inspect your order for damages immediately upon receipt. We will cover return shipping costs for repairs and replacements if applicable. We reserve the right to decline to repair or replace any item that we determine have been used by you.

 

VERMONT ROLLING PINS

All of our products will arrive in great condition, if a customer needs to return please contact The Dowry. All products must be returned within 30 days after purchase in original packaging.

 

WOVEN GREY

Woven Grey does not issue refunds. Please read sizes carefully on product description. Because each piece is handcrafted, the actual item you receive will have its own unique marks, stitching, shape and details that might vary from the representative photos.

Woven Grey quality-checks each piece before shipping but in the unlikely event that you receive an order with quality issues, please contact The Dowry within 5 days of purchase by email and we will address the issue personally.
